What to expect at your appointment
At your first appointment I will go through a confidential questionnaire taking details of your current and past medical history and some lifestyle questions. This is so I can check that it is safe for you to have a treatment and so that I can tailor the session to suit your individual needs.
You will be reclined in a dedicated reflexology chair and I will wash the feet with warm cloths before applying balm to aid the movement of my fingers over your feet. Most people find the treatment incredibly relaxing and close their eyes throughout the session. There may be some areas of tenderness in the feet. This can indicate a specific reflex point that may have a slight imbalance that I need to work to release which may then aid the free flow of energy in the body thereby restoring balance.
At subsequent treatments I will go through a shorter questionnaire to ascertain your response to the last treatment and to get an update on your health.
